Yes, the colon cleansing herbs, green drink and avoiding the "big 6" foods are ALL mandatory during this phase.  When you're detoxing it is important to keep your bowels moving so you can eliminate toxins as quickly as possibly.  There were 3 different options provided in the book, some you just take a bedtime and some that are 10-30 days long, so pick one that is best for you.  If you can't find the list of options provided in the book just let me know.

JJ let me first start by saying THANK YOU for writing this book! I heard you on the Steve Harvey show as well and I couldn't get to the book store fast enough…. B&N didn't have it in stock Cry therefore I went online and ordered it. I was SHOCKED how quickly it arrived. My question: You mentioned Mag07 being your favorite brand for colon cleansing. Do you recommend the capsules or powder and also I'm a slightly confused by either Aerobic Life or Pure Vegan?  Lastly, Your Teleseminar was very helpful and THANK YOU for providing the vehicle for us to achieve optimal health  Smile

Hello,

Today is my "41st Birthday" last B-Day celebrated in a unhealthy body!! Yea MeCool

I have been reading my book, the post and taking notes. I have even found a really nice spa in MD for colonics , Aqua Chi and infrared saunas. I am still a bit confused about the supplements.

I orderd the Mag07 and Body Relief Foot Pads. Purchased the Green Vibrance and a Boar Bristle brush. Questions: what site can I purchase the Acacia Fiber and Castor oil packs? I don't understand the difference between colon -cleansing kits that I take for 30 days (Blessed Herbs or Colonix). Do I take these after the Mag07?

Thank you!!! You have given me the best "Birthay Gift Ever" . I start on Monday 27th , I will keep you posted.Wink

Happy, Happy Birthday!!! I see you have a lot of detox planned to help you cleanse your inner body! Both the Acacia fiber and castor oil kits can be purchased on Amazon.com. I buy most of my products there, but health food stores like whole foods have them as well. Mag07 is a colon/digestive cleansers which cleanses the digestive tract and is taken for 7-10 days at bedtime for cleansing. The other 30 day kits do more as they can also kill bacteria and parasites, some even cleanse more detox organs, such as cleanse the colon, liver, kidneys, skin etc. Check out the blessed herbs website they explain the different types of cleansing kits on their website.

Mytime, the 30 day cleanser kits are something you can do once a year… so after you finish the 7-10 days of Mag07 look to do a 30 day cleanser kit in the spring or fall.  Keep in mind that we live in a sea of toxins… herbicides/pesticides/birth control pills/ prescription medicines/ smog/ household cleaners.. since we can't escape toxins, a 30 day cleanse is a good idea every year or so.

Hello,

I started the detox phase this week.  Are physillium husk (dissolved in lemon water) and/or smooth move tea acceptable means of colon cleansing? If so, how often should they be taken during the phase?  Also, are sweet potatoes allowed during the detox?

Adblanch, sweet potatoes are allowed. Psyllium fiber is an OK fiber but you have to be sure to drink a lot of water so you don't get constipated which is why I recommend acacia fiber. Smooth move is a laxative…I only recommend digestive/colon cleansers in the Detox phase of the DEM System. See chapter 5 for a better understanding of colon cleansers.

JJ, I was not able to find the Mago7 here and I plan on starting on April 1 (2 days from now). I purchased two other colon cleansers at GNC. One is Super Cleanse by Nature's Secret (the original & natural whole-herb total body cleanse) and the other is ColonClenz by BodyGold (herbal colon formula vegetarian capsules). Do you think either of these would be okay to take in the Phase 1 stage instead of Mago7?

I really can't comment on them as I've never heard of them…you'll have to research them to see if they're a good product…. Check for amazon reviews too… I don't comment on products that me, my team of nutritionists and my clients have never used.

Hi JJ,

Tomorrow will be the first day of the Detox phase for me, and I have a question regarding the Colonix intestinal cleanser and the Rescue Liver supplements – Do I need to take the liver rescue supplements along with the Colonix during this phase, since the Kleri Tea that came with the Colonix detoxifies the liver as well? Also, it is ok to drink the green drink shortly after I take the Colonix?

Thank you.

Taking the green drink after should be fine…I don't recall the colonix instructions off the top of my head…start the colonix and monitor how your body responds to it…after a week or so you can add in the liver rescue (follow instructions on bottle)…monitor your symptoms to be sure your detox symptoms aren't too strong. If not, continue using both the colonix and liver rescue
