Even though exercise is not required during this phase, can I still do some workouts?

You ABSOLUTELY can workout during the Detox Phase of the DEM System… it's just not a requirement.. later when you get to phase 3 "Move" phase, we provide ways to get more physically active throughout the day. When you're detoxing, you may feel more fatigued and tired and you may feel more like resting. However, working out or exercising is great for you health and will likely accelerate your results during the DEM System! Good Luck!

JJ, I just read the M Phase in the book and couldn't believe I never heard of the WBV. I was wondering if you could add any of the ones you have used on to the products page, to see which you liked/recommend. I much rather buy things that I know someone I trust has used them, if they recommend them.
Thanks as always.

Tomorrow will be my first day exercising, I will remain in the detox phase for two more weeks while incorporating fitness into my plan. I am excited and ready to get my body and mind right.

Ive talked about exercise a few times on the forum…I'll cut and paste what I've explained…. But it's up to you….just know that exercise builds muscle which weighs more than fat…so dont freak out by the numbers on the scale of you exercise…because the numbers could increase even though you're still losing body fat…here are my comments from the forum:
"When people ADD exercise/working out to the Detox phase, that definintely changes
their results as exercise can stimulate hunger and cause you to build muscle
mass, which weighs MORE than fat. So, you notice that I dont include exercise
as MANDATORY in Phase 1 during the detox phase. In the DEM System, we purposely
made "get moving" (being physically active) the third phase so we
could focus people on changing their eating habits. What you eat is 3 times more
important for weight loss than working out. So, it's up to the
individual to decide if they want to incoporate exercise and how this effects
their results on the DEM System. At best, light walking is good during the
Detox phase, but by exercising you could actually be LOSING body fat but
gaining muscle mass and the scale WILL show O POUNDS LOST as muscle
weighs more than fat. So, you could actually be losing body fat but the scale
wont' show it as you are ALSO gaining muscle mass by working out.

Thanks for the info JJ,
I am content seeing 0 lbs lost than pounds gained, I live in Clearwater, FL and need to begin to take advantage of this gorgeous weather. I am also modeling for the 2 girls to get into taking care of themselves with the eating. I hope that with this lifestyle change that I am implementing now will stick with them when they are older. I have tried soo many other ways to be successful at losing JJ and this is the one that is working for me. I know I say it all the time, thanks.
