The Green Drink is very expensive accompanied with the fiber drink, alkaline water, whole grains, fruits, veggies, and other organic and healthy foods. I recently purchased a juicer and have been making green drinks at home with kale, cucumber, parsley, oranges and serrano peppers. Is that a decent substitute for Green Vibrance or should I just go ahead and "splurge?"
Also, I am currently taking colon cleansers that contain Senna & Cascara Sagrada. Can I finish this bottle or do I need to get the Mag o7 instead?

lisa, juicing green leafy veggies are great and are definitely a substitute, if not better than the green powder drink. The green drink daily is critical during the detox phase and the green powder drink is just faster and quicker for most people. The colon cleanser product you mentioned sounds more like a laxative and be careful with senna because it can be habit-forming. I just know that Mag07 is a great digestive cleanser to loosen acidic waste and toxins from the digestive tract so they can be eliminated from the body. Hope this helps!

JJ,
Is it necessary to drink the green drink or would the (Vitamineral™ Green 105 Vegetarian) capsules work the same?

Big Momma, the capsules will be fine as that is a great brand in any product…for some it's easier to do the drink and for others they like the capsules..either one is fine….and stay hydrated and drink plenty of water.

JJ,
I live in a small town. And yes, we have a natural health/organic food store. But, it has been difficult to find some of the products you have mentioned: MAG07 (cleaning), green powder drink, Stevia, Green Vibrance and Vitamineral Green. Of course the sales person is telling me the brand they carry may be just as good or is the same. But I want to make sure I get the right stuff. Any suggestions regarding replacements?

Dblady, I understand.. In my book i gave a few options for the green drink, but without knowing which specific product you're looking at as a replacement, I wont know if they''re an acceptable brand as there are numerous ones on the market with varying degrees of quality. Also, EVERY product I recommend is on Amazon.com if someone wanted everything delivered to their door. Also, my clients tell me they find them also in a vitamin shoppe, whole foods/trader joes and some things in GNC. I'll work on getting a slightly broader list but we've tried numerous products and I only recommend the ones that give my clients the best results.

Hi JJ,
I purchased your book over 2 weeks ago and I just finished the 10 day master cleanse…I am really happy with the results. I am looking forward to eating and feeling healthy. My plan is to start taking the green drink and mag7 daily for colon cleansing. What else would you suggest I take on a daily basis to help with bowel movements/colon cleasning? I also started eating more whole grains, fruits, and veggies.

Cassie..congrats on completing the Master Cleanse! Taking the green drink everyday is ideal! I highly recommend it. Most take the Mag07 on a maintenance basis, like once a week once they finish their detox phase…you shouldn't need it every day. Check out Chapter 8 for the nutritional supplements. The probiotics and digestive enzymes described in that chapter both help with healthy digestion and regular bowel movements. Be sure to transition back to solid foods slowly from the master cleanse…
