J.J. Smith is a dating and relationship expert, radio host, passionate life coach, inspirational speaker and corporate executive in the D.C. metro area. J.J. is the host of a radio show called "Real Talk with JJ and The Fellas," which offers an intelligent, provocative and somewhat shocking look at love, dating, sex and relationships.  J.J. is also the Dating and Relationship Columnist for Black Star News.  Today through her seminars, small group workshops, and personal one-on-one relationship coaching sessions, J.J. is helping women of all ages upgrade the quality of their personal relationships with men.

J.J. Smith's dating and relationship expertise is in high demand, with recent appearances on the "Jamie Foxx Show," the “Michael Baisden Show," "Montel Williams:  Montel Across America," the "Guy Black Show " and "Alluring Looks," an online beauty and style magazine.  J.J. has been featured on TV on the NBC Weekend Today Show, FOX5 Morning News, and ABC/NewsChannel 8.  J.J.'s relationship advice has been featured in ESSENCE Magazine, GLAMOUR Magazine, Heart and Soul Magazine, and the Ladies Home Journal. J.J. has provided dating tips and relationship advice on several radio shows, including HOT 97 and KISS 98.7 in New York City.  J.J.'s engaging personality, and no-holds barred dating books offer sometimes controversial guidance that has been grabbing readers and listeners, both men and women alike, and keeping them coming back for more.

This current work, Why I Love Men: The Joys of Dating, is J.J.'s first book. It includes the compelling and funny story of her love relationships with men over the past 15 years. In a sister-to-sister, woman-to-woman, friend-to-friend manner, the author shares the heartfelt story of her joys, pains and lessons learned from dating. Why I Love Men is ultimately a tribute to men and how they have shaped her life and helped her to grow and develop as a woman.

J.J. holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Hampton University in Virginia. She continued her education by completing The Wharton Business School Executive Management program. She currently serves as Vice President and Partner in an IT Consulting firm, Intact Technology, Inc. in New Carrollton, Maryland. J.J. was also the youngest African-American to receive a Vice President position at a Fortune 500 company. She is the recipient of several performance awards and has published numerous white papers. J.J. is a gifted speaker and a certified seminar leader. Her hobbies include reading, writing and deejaying.
